About ingredients

30% of WIPEGEL is pure, USA-grown, water-based witch hazel extract.

Witch hazel is a native North American plant that contains many potent anti-inflammatory compounds, including gallic acid and tannins.

While the witch hazel helps soothe and clean genital and perianal skin, the prebiotics in WIPEGEL feed beneficial bacteria to help them suppress the opportunistic organisms responsible for smell and infections.

Industry secrets

First of all, baby” wipes, “feminine” wipes, and “personal” wipes are just different marketing terms for the same product. Choose a product based on the ingredient list, not the color of the packaging.

Since you do not rinse your skin after using a wipe, try to avoid wipes containing:

  • Parabens. The common ones are butyl-, ethyl-, methyl-, and propyl- (they all end in “paraben”)..
  • Phenoxyethanol.
  • Methylisothiazolinone (MIT).
  • Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate (SLS).
  • PEGs
